Find the posts that are quietly losing traffic
Freshwake reads your Google Search Console data, keeps the history WordPress throws away, and tells you which of your published posts are decaying — and which are one rewrite away from the first page.
The problem
Search Console only keeps 16 months of data, and it shows you the site, not the article. A post that fell from position 4 to position 18 over two years looks the same as one that was never ranking. By the time a decline is obvious in your analytics, it has usually been happening for months.
Meanwhile the posts worth rewriting are rarely the ones you remember writing. They are the ones sitting at position 11 to 15 with real impressions and almost no clicks — close enough that a single afternoon of work moves them.
What it does
Keeps the history
Every day, Freshwake fetches per-URL metrics from Search Console and stores them in your own WordPress database. After a year you have a year of history. After three years you still have it, long after Search Console has dropped it.
Scores each post
A freshness score combines how old the article is, whether it references a year that has passed, and how deep the subject is. Posts that need attention rise to the top of the list instead of sitting somewhere on page nine of your post list.
Notices what you changed
When you meaningfully rewrite a post, Freshwake records it — and ignores the bulk
edits, find-and-replace runs and plugin migrations that make post_modified
useless as a signal. You get a real before-and-after, not a timestamp that moved for
no reason.

The free plugin is complete on its own. It is not a trial, it does not expire, and nothing in it is locked behind a purchase. Pro is a separate add-on for people who want the rewrite workflow on top.
Your Search Console data stays on your server. The plugin talks to Google directly from your WordPress site and writes the results into your own database. Our servers never receive it — not the URLs, not the metrics, and not the search queries.
